Allan Bacon, talented wood craftsman & glass artist, has
worked with other mediums as well, having built custom homes and added many custom finishes (glass showers, hard surface
& stone countertops, built cabinets) to wonderful homes around the country - is nearly fully retired. However, folks
keep trying to talk him out of it so who know what happens in the days, months ahead. Marilyn Casey, his wife,
has marketed and sold his products, acted as business manager of this mutual endeavor, "Arts for Living."
Her additions to the products marketed by Arts for Living are the glass beads and jewelry she creates as well as some smaller
kiln glass art. They lived in Hawaii during 2009-2010 and remodeled a home that incorporated their combined
skills and creative joy. There is a page that includes some "before and after pictures" of their home's
transformation. The couple begin the year of 2011 back in Colorado with Allan's healing from liver cancer
a primary concern. Marilyn will continue her therapeutic somatic therapies and offer news of advancements in her work
and additional offerings. Please see her website at: http://www.bodyresilient.com She will continue to pursue the torch glass work and jewelry with some rich additions gained while on the Big
Island.
